Project Description

BELLILLO — Miami Local Pizza SEO

BELLILLO is a Miami pizza spot that runs on Squarespace. The ask was simple: show up when hungry people search “pizza near me,” make the phone ring, drive more “directions” taps, and load fast on phones. We focused on Local SEO and sitewide SEO fixes that play nicely with Squarespace.

Over 4 months, we moved key numbers in the right direction: GBP calls grew from 180 to 290 per month, driving directions from 320 to 520, GA4 organic sessions from 3,900 to 6,100, and the GSC average position for “pizza near me” inside a 3-mile radius climbed from 11.8 to 3.4 with steady Map Pack presence.

The Challenge

The Google Business Profile was underbuilt—no full menu, thin categories, old photos, and no “Order Online” or “Reservations” actions. NAP citations across directories didn’t match. On the website, the menu lived in a slow gallery with heavy images, there was no clear FAQ to catch “People Also Ask,” and internal links to the location info were sparse. Search signals were scattered, which left BELLILLO sitting near page two for core “near me” terms.

Strategy & Solution

Local SEO

We rebuilt the Google Business Profile from the ground up: accurate primary and secondary categories, full menu with popular pies, products attached to posts, rich attributes (dine-in, delivery, takeout), and a steady stream of fresh photos. We added “Order Online” and “Reservations” CTAs and answered common Q&A. Next, we standardized NAP across major directories and local food sites, and we picked up local mentions from Miami directories and neighborhood food blogs.

Result in 4 months: GBP calls rose from 180290 per month, driving directions from 320520 per month, and consistent Map Pack visibility across the 3-mile radius.

SEO (Squarespace)

We shipped a fast, text-forward menu page (no heavy galleries), compressed hero images, and lazy-loaded sections to help mobile users. Titles and meta descriptions were rewritten around neighborhood intent (e.g., “Neapolitan pizza in Brickell”) and “open now” language during peak hours. We added an FAQ targeting real questions we saw in Search Console and SERPs to win “People Also Ask.” Internal links from the homepage and blog point to the menu and hours, helping both users and crawlers.

Result in 4 months: GA4 organic sessions climbed from 3,9006,100, and GSC average position for “pizza near me” improved from 11.83.4.
