Mark Lauren Fitness is a revolutionary workout app designed to help you get in the best shape of your life without ever stepping foot in a gym. Developed by renowned fitness author Mark Lauren, the app offers bodyweight workout programs for all fitness levels, and also supports a range of products including books, apps, and courses that empower users to train at home. To elevate its digital impact and drive massive engagement, Mark Lauren Fitness partnered with Egochi to create a new online presence on WooCommerce.
The project centered on showcasing the simplicity and effectiveness of bodyweight workouts while leveraging a robust digital marketing mix. By refining the app’s website design, implementing tailored social media and PPC campaigns, and optimizing every element for search engines, the team aimed to turn the platform into a central hub for fitness enthusiasts. This initiative was crucial in transforming the app into a prominent educational and workout influencer in the digital space.
Despite its innovative approach, Mark Lauren Fitness was initially struggling to break through the noise in the crowded digital fitness market. The online platform lacked a distinctive visual appeal and did not clearly communicate the ease and effectiveness of at-home bodyweight workouts. This led to low conversion rates and difficulty in capturing a broad audience of fitness enthusiasts.
Egochi reimagined the entire digital strategy by creating a sleek, user-friendly website on WooCommerce that reflects the app’s core benefits. The focus was on crafting a design that communicates energy and simplicity, paired with optimized content to drive organic search performance. In addition, strategic PPC campaigns were launched to target specific fitness keywords, while social media outreach and email marketing played a supporting role in nurturing leads and building community around the brand.
The revamped digital strategy produced transformative results. Instagram followers skyrocketed from 1K to 30K, YouTube subscribers surged from 2K to 70K, app downloads reached over 50K on Google Play and 100K on the Apple App Store, while gross profit hit an impressive $1M in the first year.
