Honolulu Dental Practice is led by Dr. Wynn H. Okuda, a cosmetic dentist who blends artistic detail with dental science. He earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree and has spent nearly 30 years building smiles that fit each person’s face, smile line, and goals.
Dr. Okuda served as the 2002–2003 National President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and he is one of only 63 dentists worldwide to hold AACD Accredited Fellow status. The practice attracts patients from across the Hawaiian islands and from other countries, so the website needed to feel premium, clear, and easy to use from the first click.
The platform is WordPress. Egochi handled Web Design and Local SEO to help the practice show up for high-intent local searches, and to make it easier for visitors to understand services like porcelain veneers, full mouth rehabilitation, and single-tooth improvements.
When a patient is researching cosmetic dentistry, they move fast. They want to see credibility, real care, and a clear path to book. The existing site did not make that journey smooth. Key services were not grouped in a way that matched how people search. The layout did not guide visitors from “I want veneers” to “Here’s what happens next” to “Book a consultation.”
On the local side, important location signals needed tightening so Google could connect the practice to Honolulu-area intent. The goal was to build a site experience that feels calm and confident, while also making the local presence stronger.
We redesigned the site around the way real patients think. Instead of making people hunt, we created clear service pathways:
veneers, full mouth rehabilitation, smile makeovers, and single-tooth cases each got its own structured page with scannable sections.
We tightened the header and calls to action so booking is always easy to find. We also improved mobile layout, since many visitors land from a phone. Buttons became easier to tap, the page rhythm became easier to follow, and key credibility points were placed where people actually look first.
The result is a cleaner experience that matches the practice’s level of precision, without overwhelming new visitors.
For Local SEO, we focused on connecting what the practice does with how people search in and around Honolulu. We strengthened location cues across core pages, improved internal linking between services and contact pathways, and set up structured location signals so search engines can read the practice details more clearly.
We also built a content layout that supports local intent, not keyword stuffing, but real help:
what a consultation includes, what patients often ask before traveling, and how treatment planning works when someone is coming from another island or out of state.
The outcome is stronger local relevance and a clearer “find us and book” path for new patients.
The updated WordPress site now tells the story the right way. Credentials are easy to find, services are easy to understand, and booking is simple. Local relevance is stronger, and the website experience matches the high-touch care patients expect from a practice led by an AACD Accredited Fellow.
